Job Description

We are seeking a Senior MongoDB Database Administrator with 10+ years of experience to support enterprise MongoDB environments running on IBM Z / LinuxONE (s390x) and Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, upgrade, and maintain enterprise MongoDB environments.
• Manage Replica Sets, Sharding, Replication, High Availability, Backup/Recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Perform MongoDB performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity management.
• Implement database security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and access controls.
• Support MongoDB migrations, upgrades, patching, and production deployments.

• Collaborate with IBM Z/LinuxONE, Linux, infrastructure, storage, network, and application teams.
• Automate DBA activities using Shell, Python, or similar scripting technologies.
• Provide production support, documentation, root-cause analysis, and technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of database administration/engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on MongoDB DBA experience.
• Experience with MongoDB on IBM Z / LinuxONE (s390x).
• Expertise in MongoDB replication, sharding, indexing, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and production-support skills.
