About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Vue Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and optimization of our Vue.js applications, ensuring they are high-performing, scalable, and maintainable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about front-end development, eager to learn new technologies, and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge with peers. This is a remote position offering a competitive salary of up to $150,000 per year, with the flexibility to work from anywhere or visit our local offices if preferred. You will be instrumental in converting existing Vue 2 applications to Vue 3, enhancing our application architecture, and contributing to the development of reusable component libraries. Your expertise will help shape the future of our front-end solutions and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of front-end development experience with a focus on Vue.js
• Deep knowledge of Vue.js, including practical experience with Vue 3, Vue Router, and Vuex
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs with Vue.js applications
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors such as SASS/SCSS
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress and experience writing tests for Vue.js applications
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, and task runners like npm or yarn
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience in responsive design and development for various devices and browsers
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and resilience in tackling complex technical challenges

• First-hand experience with application migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3, including understanding breaking changes
• Knowledge of the Composition API and server-side rendering with Nuxt.js

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex Vue.js applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability

• Assist in the ongoing process of converting Vue 2 applications to Vue 3, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
• Integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate efficient data flow between front-end and back-end systems
