Conduct timely analyses by tracing questions through claim adjudication, prior authorizations, prescription changes, and fulfillment records
Document metric definitions and maintain consistency in reporting across platforms
Create and maintain dashboards in Looker, supporting migration efforts for the BI platform
Handle protected health information (PHI) with minimum necessary access, adhering to compliance standards

About the Opportunity:

The DATA ANALYST II is responsible for owning recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis within a specific manufacturer program or internal domain. This role deeply understands the enrollment process, payer nuances, fulfillment pathways, and data sources related to their assigned area. The position supports data and analytics efforts to ensure alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep expertise in a specific manufacturer program or internal domain, including enrollment funnel, payer details, fulfillment processes, and data management.
  • Manage scheduled reporting such as weekly and monthly program reports, ensuring data accuracy before distribution.
  • Conduct timely analysis by tracing questions through claim adjudication, prior authorizations, prescription changes, and fulfillment records.
  • Document metric definitions and maintain consistency in reporting.
  • Create dashboards using Looker and support BI platform migration efforts.
  • Handle protected health information (PHI) according to compliance standards, using minimum necessary access.


Requirements:

  • Typically 2 to 4 years of data analysis experience; bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Ability to clarify vague inquiries into answerable questions and provide results with appropriate context.
  • Strong validation skills to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Clear communication skills for summarizing findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL beyond basic queries, including window functions and aggregation.
  • Curiosity about healthcare and pharmacy operations.
  • Preferred but not required: experience with pharmacy, claims, or payer data; dbt transformation logic; Looker or LookML; Snowflake; Python; and client-facing analytics.
