About the Role

The company is seeking a Software Engineer, AI Agents to help build the next generation of AI-powered decisioning systems.

You will work across large language models, AI agents, backend engineering, data infrastructure, product development, and intelligent automation. You will design production-grade AI agents, develop scalable LLM pipelines, prototype new AI experiences, and turn emerging AI technologies into reliable enterprise products.

Working directly with the CTO and COO, you will have significant ownership over new AI product initiatives and influence technical architecture, AI strategy, and product direction from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build production-ready AI agents that automate customer engagement and marketing workflows.

Prototype and rapidly iterate AI-powered product experiences using modern LLMs and AI frameworks.

Develop scalable backend systems supporting AI-powered decision-making and intelligent automation.

Build production-grade LLM pipelines capable of solving complex customer and business problems.

Create AI agents that analyze customer data, generate insights, and recommend business actions.

Collaborate directly with the CTO and COO to develop new AI product lines from concept through production.

Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and methodologies to determine appropriate production architectures.

Design scalable backend services supporting AI workflows and enterprise customer data.

Build reliable distributed systems capable of supporting enterprise-scale workloads.

Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to create intuitive AI-assisted user experiences.

Make key technical decisions involving AI architecture, backend systems, system design, and product direction.

Improve engineering quality, scalability, performance, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency across AI products.

Required Qualifications

5–12 years of software engineering experience.

Strong backend software engineering experience.

Experience shipping AI-powered production products from concept through launch.

Experience building complex AI applications beyond simple RAG implementations.

Experience architecting production AI systems and LLM-powered applications.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern backend development.

Experience designing scalable distributed backend systems.

Strong understanding of LLM architectures, prompting strategies, tool calling, and AI workflows.

Experience rapidly prototyping AI-powered products.

Experience evaluating AI models and selecting appropriate production architectures.

Strong understanding of APIs, data infrastructure, and scalable backend services.

Ability to design production systems that balance reliability, scalability, latency, and cost.

Strong fundamentals in system design, software architecture, and software quality.

Experience working at high-growth, VC-backed technology companies.

Demonstrated progression in ownership, technical scope, or engineering leadership.

Strong product mindset with demonstrated ability to build 0-to-1 products.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working as an early engineering hire or startup founder.

Experience building core product features at high-growth startups.

Experience working in Series C–F environments or similarly fast-growing companies.

Experience building products with significant customer and business impact.

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Degree from a highly regarded engineering university.

Coursework or practical experience in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.

Experience with advanced AI agent architectures, LLM applications, or agentic workflows.
