We are looking for two Senior Backend Engineers to join a long-term international project within the automotive sector, working on a core platform that plays a key role in managing vehicle configurations and product information.
The platform supports multiple business areas and engineering teams, making it a highly strategic and technically challenging environment. We are looking for senior, hands-on engineers who can work autonomously and contribute to the evolution of a modern microservices ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
- Develop and evolve a microservices-based architecture supporting critical business processes.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Work with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hubs and IBM MQ.
- Contribute to the deployment, operation and maintenance of applications running on Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate closely with architects, product teams and other engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions.
- Ensure high standards of software quality, performance, security and maintainability.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Backend Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
- Solid experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
- Experience with Kafka or other event-driven messaging systems.
- Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and operational aspects.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Professional level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Angular.
- Experience with Azure Event Hubs, IBM MQ or similar integration technologies.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern software engineering principles.
- Experience mentoring developers or contributing to engineering best practices.
