Job Description
Lead Exchange Connectivity Engineer, Digital Asset Trading Firm
London (Remote) | Europe (remote) | Dubai (remote)
Albert Bow is partnered with a global digital asset trading and technology firm on a senior connectivity hire. The company provides liquidity, OTC trading and market infrastructure to institutions, exchanges and token issuers, trading around the clock across crypto markets globally.
The role
This is end-to-end ownership of exchange connectivity. You will lead the design, build and operation of feed handlers across all connected venues, run go-lives from planning and staging through to cutover and post-launch support, and debug complex production issues across venue protocols and internal systems.
You will set the technical standard for how the team approaches venue integration, mentor the engineers working on connectivity, and work on low latency trading infrastructure where your connectivity work meets the execution stack.
They want an AI-forward engineer. Someone who builds repeatable AI coding workflows to raise the whole team's output, not someone waiting for the trend to pass.

- Strong networking knowledge down the stack: HTTP, WS, TCP/IP
- Proven experience leading venue migrations end to end, including parallel-run testing, rollback planning and switching off legacy systems
- Comfortable handling venue-side protocol changes and upgrades on tight timelines
- Hands-on experience with AI-first development, including building and testing the tooling around AI-assisted workflows
