Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end solutions and systems across EPM and S2P tracks, including related custom extensions and applications.
Define business process cycles and related cross-module/external interfaces and integrations.
Build system solutions using CEMLI (configurations, extensions, modifications, localizations, and integrations).
Partner with business stakeholders to understand systems and processes, establishing a continuous engagement cadence.
Lead workshops, interviews, and surveys with diverse stakeholders.
Coordinate with business and functional stakeholders for planning, executing UATs, system validation, and production deployments.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements using standard Oracle functionality or custom functional solutions.
Manage operational governance for listing, reporting, and delivering business enhancements and backlogs.
Develop and maintain system solutions, designs, process flows, configuration documents, and training materials.
Document and analyze 'as-is' and 'to-be' business process flows.
Follow SDLC/Agile methodologies and create/track user stories from initiation through closure.
Enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and resolve incidents timely, overseeing platform administration, optimization, and stability.
Manage licenses, monitor system health, and ensure platform scalability.
Assess platform releases and ensure timely upgrades, including intermediate patch sets.

Principal Functional Analyst, Oracle S2P / EPM


The Principal Functional Analyst, Oracle Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), is responsible for the strategic direction, solution delivery, and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion S2P and EPM capabilities

Serving as the primary functional expert, this role partners with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to design, implement, and support scalable solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value. The position leads end-to-end delivery efforts across requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with enterprise processes, technology standards, and organizational objectives.


Responsibilities:

· Functional Expertise - Oracle Fusion (Primary - S2P) Design end to end solutions/system across EPM & S2P Track and related custom extension/apps.

· Define Business process cycles and related cross module/external interfaces & integrations.

· Build system solutions using CEMLI (configurations, extensions, modifications, localizations & integrations).

· Business Engagement & Partnership Partner with business stakeholders, understand the various systems and business processes, establish a continuous cadence.

· Lead Workshops and Interviews: Facilitating interactive sessions, interviews, and surveys with diverse stakeholders.

· Close coordination with Business and other functional stakeholders - Planning, executing UATs, System validation, Production deployments.

· Identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements using standard Oracle functionality whenever possible, and creating functional solutions.

· Operational governance for listing, reporting, managing and delivering business enhancements/wish list/backlog.

· Documentation, Compliance & Data Governance Develop and maintain system solutions, designs, Visio/Lucid flows for processes, configuration documents (ex: BR100, MD50, TE40), and training materials.

· Documenting and analyzing "as-is" and "to-be" business process flows.

· Following SDLC / Agile methodologies and creating/tracking respective user stories from initiation through closure (including test scenario's).

· Enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

· Platform Operations & Optimization Monitor and resolve incidents timely. Oversee platform administration, optimization, stability, and operational maintenance.

· Manage licenses, monitor system health, process standardization, and ensure scalability of the platform.

· Continuously enhance platform performance and user experience through proactive improvements. Assess platform quarterly/periodic releases and ensure timely upgrades (including intermediate patch sets).


Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

· Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations in the Manufacturing space preferred, with at least two fullcycle implementations covering the EPM & S2P process area required.

· 8+ years of experience with Oracle ERP applications/implementation, with strong understanding of platform functionality, cross-functional integrations, and process cycles required.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications preferred; Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 experience required.

· Experience supporting Oracle EPM solutions, including FCCS, ePBCS, ARCS, MDM and other reporting tracks.

· Advanced hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion applications, including solution design, techno-functional configuration, deployment, and ongoing operational maintenance. Certificate in Oracle Cloud Payables, Procurement, or Oracle EPM is a nice-to-have.


Knowledge and Skills:

· Advanced expertise in Oracle Fusion Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions, including solution design, configuration, implementation, integration, and production support.

· Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion S2P processes and modules, including Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and General Ledger.

· Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM capabilities, including FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, Master Data Management (MDM), and reporting solutions.

· Expertise in Oracle Fusion configuration, workflow, approvals, security, master data, financial controls, and platform administration.

· Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and third-party integrations, including data migration, conversion, mapping, and transformation activities.

· Experience with Oracle reporting and analytics tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, and enterprise reporting solutions.

· Working knowledge of Oracle development and integration technologies, including PL/SQL, VBCS, Redwood UI, APIs, and automation tools.

· Ability to create and maintain functional designs, process flows, test scripts, user stories, configuration documentation, training materials, and other SDLC deliverables.

· Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, SDLC, and Oracle implementation methodologies, with demonstrated success delivering complex enterprise projects.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence business and technical teams and drive successful solution delivery.
