Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) – Test Automation & Product Reliability

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to transform a largely manual product acceptance process into a structured, automated and continuously repeatable quality framework.

The role combines test automation, product acceptance testing, exploratory manual testing and quality engineering.

You will own the test repository, automate what should be automated, manually investigate what requires human judgment, and provide clear, evidence-based release verdicts.

The position plays a critical role in protecting product quality, security, multi-tenant data isolation, AI capabilities and overall product reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Monday test repository at acceptance-criteria level, including status, verdict, evidence and defects.
• Lead staging acceptance campaigns and ensure every result is reproducible.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end tests, with automation as the backbone of the QA strategy.

• Integrate E2E tests into CI/CD and establish meaningful quality gates.
• Investigate failures and defects down to their root cause rather than disabling, quarantining or bypassing tests.
• Produce clear, actionable defect reports with reproduction steps and evidence.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing for new or complex user journeys and anomalies.
• Test multi-tenant isolation and authorization on every staging release.
• Extend AI/LLM regression testing, reference datasets and quality thresholds.
• Establish the foundations of accessibility testing.
• Work independently with logs and test data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       Playwright + TypeScript, with experience maintaining automation suites over time.

·       Strong exploratory and manual testing skills.

·       Ability to write verifiable acceptance criteria with clear preconditions and expected results.

·       Ability to read Python business logic and derive test cases / test oracles from business rules.

·       pytest experience.

·       Experience testing amounts, currencies, dates, durations and rounding rules.

·       GitHub Actions and CI/CD.

·       Ability to investigate issues using logs and test data.

·       Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Hypothesis / fast-check and property-based testing.

·       Localization / internationalization testing.

·       Multi-tenant B2B SaaS experience.

·       AI/LLM output evaluation and regression testing.

·       Accessibility testing.

·       Financial, wealth management or regulated product experience.
