2. Supply Chain & Management Platform Support

Supporting the global "Manufacture, Transport, and Sell" operations of Yamaha products through IT infrastructure.

Smart Factory Transformation: Automation of factory production lines and the construction of production management systems.

Logistics & Sales Systems: Core enterprise systems supporting operations from parts procurement to global dealer inventory management.

Corporate Systems: Essential back-office infrastructure driving corporate management across the entire group, including accounting, HR, and finance.

3. IT Infrastructure & Security

Building the global infrastructure required for the corporate group to operate securely worldwide.

Global Network: Construction and maintenance of communication networks connecting global business sites.

Data Center & Cloud Services: Management and operation of core server infrastructure.

Cybersecurity: Implementation of advanced security measures and formulation of BCP (Business Continuity Planning).

■Department Mission:

Continuously provide safe, secure, and stable IT infrastructure and core system platforms that serve as the foundation supporting the business operations of the company group.

■Your Role:

Participating in key initiatives—such as ERP implementation, next-generation authentication infrastructure, and global cloud strategies—to build and deploy IT infrastructure in alignment with the realization of Y-DX1 (Management Infrastructure Reform).

■Responsibilities

In each project driving the realization of the company group’s management infrastructure reform, engineers take charge of one of the following domains: Planning & Architecture, Operations, or User Support.

＜Planning & Architecture＞

・Collaborates with the IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity groups to handle everything from supporting IT strategy formulation to seamless operational handoff.

・Oversees overall project management while leveraging insights gained from operations and user support to proactively propose business process improvements to Yamaha Motor.

＜Operations＞

・Handles maintenance, operations, and environment buildout/implementation for cloud and on-premises data centers and networks that support a stable IT infrastructure platform.

・Primarily responsible for backend infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centers, and cloud environments.

・Executes daily routine tasks, responds to unexpected issues and incidents, and collects monitoring data and baseline information for future strategic planning.

＜User Support＞

・Manages client environment operations aligned with the company group's workstyle transformation vision, delivering user-centric support focused on satisfaction.

・Provides IT usage support to employees across domestic and international group companies.

・Delivers technical support—including antivirus measures, inquiry handling, and hardware assistance covering PCs and peripheral devices.

■Required

3+ years of experience in the design, implementation, or operation of any of the following:

・Network Engineer

・Server Engineer

・Cloud (AWS/SaaS) Engineer

・Customer Engineer

■Preferred

・Experience in a leadership role, such as a project leader

・Experience in the design and management of network, server, or client operations

・Certifications such as the IPA Information Processing Engineer Examination (FE/AP) and CompTIA (Server+ / Network+)

*Relocation expenses will be reimbursed after joining the company, up to a maximum of 150,000 yen (including tax).
