About Carv
Carv is on a mission to unlock the enjoyment of better skiing. We use AI, real-time feedback, and sensor-driven data to help skiers to measure technique and coach them to improve. Our team is building industry-pioneering software that bridges the gap between technology and human performance.
We’re looking for a product-minded, inquisitive and inventive Senior Rust Engineer to drive the development of the core of Carv’s coaching across Android and iOS, and expand and maintain our backend infrastructure.

What You’ll Do
- Contribute to our Rust codebase from architecture to implementation
- Work closely with designers, product managers and skiers to build category defining coaching experiences
- Implement real-time coaching features powered by AI and sensor data, and test these on the ski slope
- Stay on top of industry trends and Rust advancements and adopt the latest best practices

- In the office: 3 days per week on average
- Relocation: We offer relocation assistance based on your circumstances
- Core business hours: 8am–4pm Mountain Time
- Flexibility and workload: You may occasionally need to work later depending on business needs, and busy periods may require early calls (around 7am) for UK overlap. Outside of that, we trust you to manage your own working times. On average we work ~50 hours per week.
