A fast-growing AI company in San Francisco is hiring 1–3 Machine Learning Engineers to work directly with the CTO and own ML systems end-to-end — from research and experimentation to evaluation and production.
This is not an inference-only role. You’ll work on models that process and understand complex documents, combining VLMs, computer vision and LLMs for real enterprise workloads.
What you’ll do:
• Train, fine-tune and evaluate ML models for production
• Build and improve document understanding and OCR systems
• Work with VLMs, traditional CV and LLMs
• Own data pipelines, model performance and product integration
• Build evaluation tooling and experiment with new ML techniques
• Deploy models and take them all the way to users
• Work directly with founders, CTO and enterprise customers

What they’re looking for:
• 4+ years of full-time ML Engineering experience after graduation
• Hands-on experience training/fine-tuning/evaluating production ML models
• Strong experience with VLMs, Computer Vision or LLMs

• BS/MS in CS, Engineering, Mathematics or related field from a strong CS/engineering program
