About the role:
As a Software Engineer here you'll work across the whole product, from the systems that understand hundreds of thousands of fund documents to the agents that turn a client's request into a finished report, with the client in the room. Most of our code is written by AI, so the job is judgment: deciding what to build, shaping how the agents work, and standing behind what ships. No finance background or particular stack required; strong candidates have high agency, like ambiguous problems, and want their work in front of real users within days of starting.
- Full-time, in person in Seattle.ware engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing modular, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices such as code reviews and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
