Data Eminence is seeking a motivated WordPress Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will develop and maintain WordPress websites, customize themes and plugins, implement new website features, and ensure websites remain secure, responsive, and optimized.
You will collaborate with designers, content teams, marketing specialists, and other developers to transform requirements and designs into functional websites. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with WordPress development, PHP, databases, frontend technologies, APIs, SEO, performance optimization, and modern web development tools while working remotely.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining WordPress websites
- Customizing WordPress themes and templates based on design requirements
- Developing and customizing WordPress plugins
- Working with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Creating responsive and mobile-friendly website interfaces
- Integrating third-party APIs and external services
- Working with WordPress REST APIs and custom integrations
- Managing WordPress databases and content structures
- Troubleshooting and resolving website errors and technical issues
- Optimizing websites for speed, performance, and responsiveness
- Implementing basic website security and maintenance practices
- Managing WordPress updates, plugins, themes, and configurations

Requirements

- Familiarity with PHP and MySQL

- Familiarity with WordPress REST API is a plus
