Job Description
We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling AI company building intelligent digital employees that can execute complex business processes for enterprise customers. Its platform brings together AI, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise applications to enable autonomous software agents to securely operate within real-world business environments.
As an Platform Engineer, you’ll build the systems that sit underneath these deployments, creating the infrastructure, services, and integrations required for AI agents to interact with critical enterprise technology. You’ll have broad ownership across cloud infrastructure, identity, security, integrations, reliability, and developer tooling while helping establish the foundation for the company’s next phase of scale.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build highly reliable infrastructure supporting AI-powered applications across multiple enterprise environments.
- Develop foundational services for identity, authentication, authorization, permissions, RBAC, access policies, and comprehensive audit trails.
- Build and maintain integrations across enterprise communication and collaboration ecosystems such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Teams, Zoom, email, and voice.
- Develop connectors and platform services that allow AI systems to securely interact with critical business applications including NetSuite, SharePoint, Google Drive, SAP, Oracle, and similar enterprise systems.
- Create scalable frameworks that standardize how new applications, integrations, and customer environments are provisioned and brought online.
- Own production infrastructure, cloud environments, deployment pipelines, observability, monitoring, incident response, and operational reliability.
- Identify and eliminate infrastructure bottlenecks as the platform scales across an expanding enterprise customer base.
- Partner closely with application and AI engineers to develop APIs, backend services, internal tooling, and infrastructure that enable faster product iteration.
- Automate environment creation, configuration, and deployment workflows to significantly reduce the time required to move customers from implementation to production.
- Establish and maintain security controls around access management, data protection, compliance, isolation, and auditability.
- Help define architectural patterns, infrastructure standards, and engineering best practices across the organization.
- Take end-to-end ownership of major technical initiatives, from system design and implementation through production operation.
- Play a meaningful role in shaping the technical direction and engineering culture as the organization grows.
