Schedule: Full-Time | US Eastern/Central Time overlap, 7 AM–4/5 PM Eastern
About Upstack Data
Upstack Data is a Miami-based SaaS building marketing automation for Shopify merchants. Our flagship product, Signal, replaces broken browser-based pixels with reliable first-party server-side events to Meta, TikTok, and other ad platforms. We're a lean, AI-first team running offshore-first - most of our engineering, GTM, and operations roles are filled with PH talent.
About This Role
You'll own product QA and testing at Upstack Data. You'll test new features, bug fixes, and product releases, identify issues and edge cases, reproduce bugs, and verify fixes before changes are released.
You'll also maintain our product documentation. Because you'll develop a strong understanding of how the product works, you'll make sure our documentation stays accurate as features and workflows change.
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, technically curious, and comfortable testing software, understanding how features work, and documenting what they find.
What You'll Do
QA & Product Testing
- Test new features, bug fixes, and product releases.
- Perform functional and regression testing across key product workflows.
- Create and maintain test cases and QA checklists.
- Reproduce and document bugs with clear steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and screenshots.
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing.
- Identify edge cases, confusing workflows, and UX issues.
- Test integrations, tracking, and other technical product workflows.
- Help identify issues before they reach customers.
- Make sure releases work as expected across important user workflows.
Product Documentation
- Maintain Upstack Data's product documentation.
- Write and update setup guides, feature documentation, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, release notes, and internal SOPs.
- Keep documentation accurate as features and workflows change.
- Create clear screenshots, annotated images, and walkthroughs when needed.
- Identify outdated, missing, or unclear documentation and improve it.
- Work with engineering and other teams to understand and document new features.
- Make sure documentation matches how the product actually works.
Cross-functional
- Work closely with the Founder and engineers to understand technical changes and expected behavior.
- Ask the right questions when requirements or product behavior are unclear.
- Use customer and support feedback to identify product issues and documentation gaps.
- Help turn technical information into clear documentation for non-technical users.
- Use AI tools to speed up testing, research, documentation, and analysis while validating the output yourself.
